Information we collect

When you submit a ride request, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method, your pet's name, type and size, pickup address or location, destination address or location, requested date and time, who will travel, and any notes you add about the ride.

Why we collect it

We use this information only to review, plan, quote, confirm, and communicate with you about the requested pet transportation service.

Where it goes and how it is stored

Ride requests are sent over HTTPS to Formspree, our form-processing service. Formspree stores the submission in our password-protected Formspree account and sends a notification to the verified email inbox connected to that account. Copies may remain in the Formspree inbox and the email inbox until they are deleted. City Rover does not operate a separate customer database through this website.

Who can access it

Access is limited to the City Rover personnel who manage ride requests and have access to the relevant business accounts, and to Formspree and our email provider as needed to process and deliver the request. Their authorized personnel may access data when required to operate, secure, or support their services.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell customer information or share ride-request information for advertising. We use Formspree to process the form and our email provider to deliver and receive the resulting notification. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect people, animals, or our legal rights.

How long we keep it

We aim to delete routine ride-request records within 12 months after the requested ride date or our last communication about the request. We may keep a record longer when reasonably needed for an active booking, a legal obligation, accounting, safety, fraud prevention, or a dispute.

Your choices

You may ask us to provide or delete the ride-request information we hold about you. Email contact@cityrovernyc.com using the same email address included in your request so we can reasonably verify it. We will delete eligible information from the accounts we control, subject to any legal or safety-related reason we must retain it.

Important limits

The ride request form is not a payment form and must not be used to send payment card details. Please do not submit sensitive human medical information. Pet-related notes should be limited to details needed to plan safe transportation.
